morning time
Most mornings i wake up thinking, “god dammit, i have go to work”. but some mornings i wake up with either a really random, old, haven’t heard it in forever song stuck in my head, or a song that i don’t mind having stuck in my head, stuck in my head. this morning it was the latter.

weddings and funerals
i’ve noticed some people who attend a wedding will say something along the lines of “blah blah blah, going to a funeral”. i kinda get it, simply because i’m wearing the same dress that i wore to a wedding a couple of months ago to a funeral today.

I think dinner was a success. I made sauteed chicken with a poblano pepper sauce (the sauce was pretty good, alone it was kinda sweet and a tiny bit spicy, over the chicken it was yum) and Spanish rice.
I say -ish because I hope I made enough food..
I say success because we didn’t have to throw it out and order a pizza!

normally, i don’t care about valentine’s day. i mean, i might buy a box of cards like i used to in elementary school and give out the best ones, but that’s about it. this year i bought THE BEST valentine’s day cards ever! well i bought 2, and i need to decide which one i’m going to give to brian.

you know how some mornings you wake up with the most random song stuck in your head, and you sing it in the shower, and while you’re getting ready, and pretty much all morning long. and you haven’t heard this song in years and it makes you go, “whaaaat?”

my dad’s a meanie and my dog was born in the school of hard knocks
Apparently last night my dad (for some unknown reason) had his gun out (and for some other unknown reason) decided to point it at my ladybird! What the shit, right? Well Ladybird had a tough puppyhood and flipped out. Barking, growling, hiding, et al.
I wonder if other dogs understand the concept of guns..like, if my dad pointed a gun at some other dog, one who was birthed in a loving home and not in a meth den, would they flip shit? Or maybe she has vague memories of when the police raided her shit head previous owner’s meth lab/home. She’s also deathly afraid of trash bags and hates the smell of nail polish remover (remember, she was a meth puppy)
Anyway, moral of the story: my dad can be a doucher (albeit a lovable doucher) and my poor dog..my poor poor dog
